Overview

Türkiye Scholarships (Türkiye Bursları) is the flagship international scholarship programme of the Turkish Government, administered by the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB). It offers fully-funded bachelor's, master's, and doctoral scholarships to students from over 180 countries at Turkish state and foundation universities including Boğaziçi, METU, Istanbul Technical University, and Ankara University. The programme includes a one-year Turkish language course before academic study begins.

Eligibility Requirements

Non-Turkish citizen; minimum age 18; academic score 70%+ (undergraduate) or 75%+ (master's/PhD); bachelor's degree for master's/PhD applicants; GPA 3.0+ for graduate programs; age limits: under 21 (bachelor's), under 30 (master's), under 35 (PhD); strong motivation letter

Scholarship Benefits

Full tuition at Turkish universities, monthly stipend (TRY 3,000 undergraduate / TRY 4,000 master's / TRY 4,500 PhD), furnished government dormitory accommodation, health insurance (Green Card), annual round-trip airfare, one-year Turkish language course
