How Should Jordanian Students Prepare for GMAT?

Master Data Insights — it's new and different

The Focus Edition replaced Integrated Reasoning and Analytical Writing with Data Insights. Practice reading charts, tables, and multi-source data under time pressure.

"Most Jordanian students underestimate how much preparation time GMAT requires. We recommend a minimum of eight weeks of structured study before your exam date, focusing on your weakest section from week one."

Common GMAT Questions from Jordanian Students

What GMAT score do top MBA programs require?
Top business schools (HBS, Wharton, Stanford GSB) average 720–740. Competitive programs typically want 650+. The new GMAT Focus Edition max score is 805.
GMAT or GRE for MBA — which should I take?
Both are widely accepted. GMAT is traditionally preferred for business school. However, if you're stronger in standardized tests generally, GRE may give you a better result. Shatnawi can advise based on your profile.
How is GMAT Focus Edition different from the old GMAT?
The Focus Edition is shorter (2:15h vs 3:7h), removes Analytical Writing, adds a Data Insights section, allows question review and changing answers, and is scored 205–805 instead of 200–800.
How many times can I take the GMAT?
You can take the GMAT up to 5 times in a 12-month rolling period, with a maximum of 8 times total lifetime. A 16-day waiting period is required between attempts.
